of wife beaters and wrong shoe sizes you can never understand totally how depressed or happy someone else is,

based on this simple fact, i can never say the right words or do the right things to comfort anyone in pain,
i mean, it's sometimes not right to tell someone "you should move on" or "you'll fine someone new" or "it's not your loss"

although the above are almost always true, how can you be sure that your method of coping with pain and grief works for another,

of course it helps, if you've been through a similar situation, but "similar" is not "same",

that's why, i believe that it is best to just keep quiet, talk only when asked but make sure you'll be there for that person,

it's always a relief to have someone comforting by your side whenever you are down, a tub of ice cream always works, (it'll force you to work out extra hard too), going out with friends, meeting new people, those kinds of stuff, but at the end of the day, when you are all alone in the room, nothing can stop the rolls of tears that emerge from your eyes when years of memories are triggered by a simple gesture, song or thought,

i still have no answer for coping with that, but one just has to remember, that friends are just a phone call away,  ¶ 11:33 am
